1. Research and analytical use
Odyssey Standards provides analytical and quality-support services for lawful research and business purposes. Unless expressly stated in an appropriately authorized written agreement, services and reports are not clinical diagnostic tests, medical devices, drug approvals, product releases, or regulatory certifications.
2. No medical or veterinary advice
Nothing on this website or in a Odyssey Standards report is medical or veterinary advice. Odyssey Standards does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor disease; recommend a compound, product, dose, route, schedule, or administration; or determine suitability for human or animal use. Do not use Odyssey Standards content or results to make patient-specific decisions.
3. Sample-specific limitation
A result applies only to the sample as received and the analysis described. It does not establish that other units, vials, portions, lots, batches, products, suppliers, dates, or locations are identical. Sampling error, heterogeneity, degradation, contamination, storage, shipping, preparation, matrix effects, method limits, reference quality, and measurement uncertainty may affect the result.
4. Identity is not safety
A finding consistent with expected identity or a reported chromatographic profile does not by itself establish potency, sterility, endotoxin level, absence of contaminants, safety, efficacy, legality, regulatory compliance, or fitness for any use. Each attribute requires an appropriate and separately scoped analytical question.
5. No endorsement
Testing a sample does not mean Odyssey Standards approves, certifies, sponsors, partners with, recommends, or endorses a client, vendor, supplier, brand, product, claim, manufacturing process, or intended use. Public verification confirms a registry record, not an endorsement.
6. No guaranteed outcome
Odyssey Standards does not guarantee a passing result, expected result, specific purity or content, regulatory acceptance, commercial outcome, publication, or uninterrupted verification access. Scientifically valid work may produce inconclusive, unexpected, or unfavorable findings.
7. Website and third-party content
Website content may summarize technical topics and can become outdated. It is not a substitute for qualified scientific, legal, regulatory, medical, quality, or safety advice. Odyssey Standards is not responsible for a third party’s statements, links, report excerpts, altered documents, or use of a Odyssey Standards name or result.
8. Client responsibility
